MUSIC AND LYRICS - ON DVD 4th JUNE

Music & Lyrics, the charming and tuneful romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, is launching on DVD from 4th June.

Set in New York, the film tells the story of a washed up 80's pop star and his attempts to re-ignite his career with help from an unlikely source. Once a member of POP! -- one of the biggest bands of the 1980s - Alex Fletcher (Hugh Grant) has seen his stardom reduced to working the nostalgia circuit of high school reunions and theme parks.

Offered a lifeline to get his music career back on track, Alex is invited to write and record a song for the reigning chart-topping pop princess, Cora Corman (Haley Bennett). The problem is that Alex hasn't written a song in years and he's never written lyrics - and to make matters worse, he only has one week to do it in.

Enter Sophie Fisher (Drew Barrymore), Alex's quirky plant lady who has a real flair for words. As the chemistry between the two hots up, they must face their fears to find the love and success they both deserve.
