Yes, words are easy. But change begins with words, does it not? Carlos Monsivais, Mexico's most revered chronicler struck at the core of the problem when he said,"The notorious political apathy of Mexicans is intimately related to their all too obvious amorality, tho their feeling of indifference and helplessness at the mere thought of combating any form of injustice (Bowden, Juarez, Laboratory Of Our Future." I maintain my view that Mexicans must throw off this amorality and political apathy.

If NAFTA isn't working for Mexico, they should repeal it. Why don't the Mexican people stand up and say, "Enough is enough!" ? I'm tired of people blaming the U.S. for their problems. Mexicans need to take ownership of their lives and stop playing the victim. If they want things to change, they have to make it change. If the people are tired of their corrupt government and the drug violence, they need to start a revolution and take back their lives. Freedom is claimed, not given as charity.
