NOT Surprising_Government(s) have Historically SCREWED their Vets. Deny & redirect any request. There are guys from Nam who Gave Up trying to get care from Agent Orange_Oh wait_There Was No Such Thing_BS_just like there were No 'issues' from the Gulf War. I gotta say though, I Did get some care @ VA in 2001_I could hardly believe it

....Actually, I take back my last comment about the GI Bill, AN HOUR AGO, I got a letter in the mail saying that I've been approved for the Post 9/11 GI Bill. Looks like Uncle Sam and the VA came through. They must have seen my comment here.

I'm a brown guy and ex-Navy. And they did educate us. Perhaps the leaders of our nation should be educated. I can acquire all the knowledge possible, and if I choose to defend this nation, it wouldn't mean anything if the guy who is above me is uneducated but knows how to play the politics game to get into power.

THIS IS SO TRUE!!! I applied for the Post 9/11 GI Bill through their website, and they haven't responded back. I wanted to start college at Polytechnic before March 1st.

i went to college on the GI Bill and the VA-hospital i go to is better then private healthcare....no beef here.........but not surprized they're having problems...typical goverment bullshit...that's a shame for these young men and women.........
