  • @tor3030 Wow, that really puts things in perspective, huh? If we all considered the long-term impact of things before we bought or discarded them, I think we'd be a lot more careful. I know I certainly am!

  • thanks Raam. The other day I threw out a plastic fork that I had used to eat a take out meal. What a total waste (which I could do with minimal guilt because hey I've been doing it all my life). I use this fork for 5 minutes and it lives in a landfill for 16,000 years. Have a good life, fork.
