I was there that week... Fricken UNREAL!!! As a matter of fact, I've been up here (in Mammoth) all week but didn't get these condidtions... not yet! 12/8- 12/14/10... Looks like a GREAT season ahead!

It's been many years since I skied Mammoth. I especially remember that 81-82 and 82-83 were epic years. Many good memories!!! I spent a lot of time chasing the vapor trails of a beautiful blond who was an incredible skier. I finally caught up to her. She and I need to get back there with the kids & grandchildren someday.

wow. what an amazing mountain. the feeling of awe will surely over come anyone that gazes upon it. what a feeling it must be to be in the middle of the mountain alone, surrounded by what truly is a winter wonderland.
