they probably didn't use this song on the album because they were trying to keep away from making Disintegration II. I think the version of Cut on this video is better than the album version (slower and with keys).

This should have been on Wish (instead of the woeful 'Wendy Time'). I could never understand why it wasn't. Maybe it wasn't because the recirded version wans't up to stratch. It is disappointing compared to this version. In short, the guitar work is much better on this as compared to the recorded version. Strange really. Maybe they were too drunk when they recorded it. Whatever the reason, it's like they didn't give respect to the song when they recorded it. Still, we'll always have this

I used to call radio stations in 94 and request this song.. I thought it was released back then. I know it was a rare b-said but yeah....when i bought join the dots I was Disappointed...NOTHING could top this live version.

I still think this is the best version of this song. I like it in the higher tones.... its heat breaking but yet so damn beautiful. The worlds best band puts out yet another masterpiece!
