I'd like to say a little thing. I am sorry what the white man did to the Aboriginal Australians. I am sorry that their children were taken. I am sorry for so many things. I don't know how to fix it... My bloodlines go back to Italy (mostly) Germany, and Scotland/England/Welsh/Ireland­. But I too was born here, and so were my parents so how do I make it ok? Australia is my home too. what's the next step to make it right? This is my land, my home too not somewhere on the otherside of the planet...

You are right that you should not feel guilty for being white. But your lack of sympathy is what will keep this race partition up. Give them sympathy and acceptance and the healing will begin. But most importantly learn from history and never let it happen again (as it is still happening with tribes in South America and Africa).
