Dr Grant "you have to also allow funding for those people who believe HIV is the cause of the virus." Duesberg replies "I'm not worried about them yet."
Pretty funny.

Dr. Horton uses the word "believe" a lot. AIDS is not a religious question!

@PikemannUrge exactly,,

What's shocking is how at least one physician on this program confuses 'highly toxic' with 'imperfect'. Bloody hell. Talk about being delusional. The medical profession needs a huge, huge overhaul.
-
The problem with doctors today is they are protected by drug companies and vice-versa. If an A.I.D.S. patent dies from AZT, the death can be justified by A.I.D.S. If a psychiatric patient takes Prozac and then kills himself due to the medication - well, then it must have been the condition and not the drug. If a patient has osteoarthritis and takes Vioxx that then kills him - it must have been the osteoarthritis.

this debate was biased and flawed coz the stupid interviwer kept reiterating about how hiv causes aids so why bring the other guys on to oppose when you the chair, is already made up on what you want people to believe. bollocks!!!!

Mark Kaplan "I've got some dissident ideas about how the virus works"
"Dissident ideas" have nothing to do with a viral causative agent of Aids. What the F*** is he talking about? INDUSTRY PAWN
how retarded do you have to be to think that HIV is not the cause of AIDS?

Good for Duesberg. I love how the orthodoxy says we need to divert money to the HIV=AIDS theory, even though we've already up to this point spent 6billion on that theory and none on alternative theories. At least Richard Horton has an open mind and has the integrity to admit what his colleagues have been up to.

Even though Horton's honesty in this video is praiseworthy, he too later turned against science. He still makes interesting statements every once in a while though. I think he's a pretty conflicted individual. He wants to be more honest and objective but he's not strong enough to ressist the system he became a part of. But that's just my guess...
Google "Serge Lang Memorial HIV/AIDS Archive" to see at AIDS Wiki what later became of Richard Horton. He was also involved in the MMR controversy.
