Aethellis' keyboardist Ellsworth Hall, inspired by his new VB3 software Hammond B3 organ, clone jams in his studio much to the chagrin of his terrier, Duffy (heard making comments). Ellsworth used VB3 on the new Aethellis album, Northumbria.

VB3 is running in Sonar 8.5 and the keyboard controller is a CME UF7 in "drawbar mode" where the 9 sliders are set to controll VB3's virtual drawbars.

  • @ 0:24 Duffy's got rhythm!

  • @missinformationage

Thanks, I'll tell him! He auditioned for the band but didn't have the proper stage presence. Oh well!

  • @Aethellis "Lacks the proper stage presence" usually means "He gets all the chicks."

  • @waldo2384 All too true! :-)

  • Awesome!!

  • great

  • @davdcl499 I really love the feel of the CME UF7. For semi-weighted it has a nice subtle bounce-back that is very piano-like but a bit lighter which works well for organ and synths. Hadn't tried the fully weighted action of the UF8 although I've read it was quite good.

  • Man, I've been through so many keyboards. For every CME video, you'll see a question about the feel of the keys. I want to get one, but I'm so skeptical. There's also no way to demo it because not a store in NYC has them.
