Not only my spinal fusion surgery in the cervical area, but general info on related videos (some of them are graphic, so please ask your doctor before viewing). Sometimes it is good to watch a video...then one can see what actually happens in the operating room.

  • Just FYI, the site I give you at the beginning of the video is a great image of what the surgery actually does. Not for the weak stomachs, but great to know what your body is going to go thru. LoLv.

  • I don't think vegetarians eat fish but there are no laws against a fish-eating vegan. Chinese monks eat tofu and other soy bean products as protein supplement to their diet, the Buddhist vegetarian chefs have become extremely creative in imitating meat using prepared wheat gluten. Try some tofu recipes if you are interest in boneless, no-choking diet, seasoning is the secret to make them tasted good.

  • @tongw7393 : I figure that if Christ ate fish, it should be good for us, too. Love the tofu idea...you rock! LoLv.

  • I just choked on some chicken two weeks ago......so now I'm really thinking of becoming a vegan. Do vegan's eat fish? LoLv to you all.

  • @ducbert : mmmmm. Both sound yummy. I would go for the coq au vin, just because it sounds like it has more gusto :=). LoLv to you. xoxooxo

  • @azzarbprime : my dream is to change legislation to require CME for all physicians who see patients, just like they did for Pain Management. 20 hours of lectures & breakout sessions with patients there for evaluation. I'd like to title the Course "Misdiagnosed and Invisible Illnesses". You wait. One day, it will happen. I promise you. LoLv.

  • @jtls8 : Thanks for all the prayers....they really work, and I am getting better and better. I'm so grateful to be alive, and I take each day with gusto. God Bless You, too! You are the most amazing Brother in Christ! LoLv.

  • @THX1138x29 : and warm berry pie a la mode. :=). And homemade stuffing & yes, cakes. Before the accident, I used to bake cakes. The preschoolers called me 'The Cake Lady' :-0. :-). One day, I will get back to baking. LoLv.

  • Before, it was much worse all the time. I still have 'good' days and 'bad' days, as do we all. But what is worse? Having dysautonomia or not being able to eat due to dysphagia? Not be able to eat and swallow for ?3 weeks, or ?3 months...It is as if stomach and intestinal cells can be hungry for food and energy during times when the brain cells are not hungry at all. Just my guy feeling as a clinician. But I can feel the difference between hunger and not hunger, and I need reminders to eat. LoLv.
