  • I would have liked to have seen how you did the front of the hair so neat. Anymore pics or close ups?

  • @Lazybabyz I apologize; I do not have anymore pictures of this. I posted a vid of how I took them out, and I am a little closer to the camera on there. You might be able to get a better look. The video's called "Crochet Sew In Take Out."

  • I like the fact that you kept your braids close together. Are the braids as easy to manage as a weave? Why didn't you keep the style longer? I really want to try this look especially after watching this video..

  • @Darlyon3 Thank you! I hope you do try it. I did enjoy the style, but I like to change my hair often; since it was synthetic hair, I could not straighten it, and I got tired of wearing curly hair. You can keep it longer - I wouldn't recommend more than 3 months, though. This style was very easy, especially since I did not have any of my hair out and I didn't have to worry about any tracks showing.

  • @11mjsmommy You reply quickly, so I will ask another question, lol! Do you or do you not recommend straightening a style like this? Some of the synthetics take heat (low heat, blow dryer). Would a straightened hairstyle work with crochet braids, especially since you have them so close together? (for a little diversity)

  • @Darlyon3 No problem, ask away! :) I, personally, do not like the way that type of hair reacts to heat, but crochet braids can be installed using the synthetic hair that can withstand heat. With this style, I prefer to use hair that has a curl pattern, even if it is just a slight curl or wave. If you use curly hair, you can use less commercial hair, but if you were to straighten it after you've worn it for some time, you will most likely need to add more hair to cover the cornrows.
