The deadly rod also works like the deadly sword. Plus it has a good IP technique for the final boss when you uncurse it. You can also get a fatal pick weapon which has an 80% instant kill rate too.

@LancerD1984, you should have given the Silvo Sword to Maxim instead of Arty and keep the weapon you had on Arty on. One other thing, there are no MP restoration pads in the Ancient Cave!
