As a clarinetist I am a fan of the famous solo passage starting at 2"58 (with oboe answer) till 3"16. Well played with time and wonderful intonation... one of the best version among the 5 I found on Youtube.

I'm not replying to your comment, (although I agree so I guess I kind of am...) but I have to say for anyone who cares, I'm almost positive that the Principal Cellist is playing on a synthetic instrument, but again, it could be the light. Oh well, that would be cool...

note the cello at 0:19. The light is either playing tricks, or the cello and bow are synthetic materials?

Hello, the cello´s principal cellist of these orchestra is a Pierre Vidoudez, is a cello belgium, the varnish is very obscure, Pierre Vidoudez is a great luthier of first fifty years of XX. sorry for my bad english.
