Most b moves with some exceptions (mostly projectiles outside of Falcon in general) are laggy and punishable. Kirby's down b for example can be grabbed (or even up smashed as Pikachu's priority is hilarious.) The only b-moves of these chars you will see at this level of play are probably pikachu's down b to kill off the top and possibly Pikachu's up b to escape combos as it has invincibility at the startup.

why don't they ever use their b moves? there's a couple times where a thunder would have worked perfectly for pikachu

The pikachu kirby matchup is classic. This is honestly one of the only matches I've ever seen where I was worried that Isai might lose (but really, now I just feel stupid for doubting). Boom does play an impressive, superfast pika, though. Great match.

I loved that moment at 5:03 where both just stopped and stared at each other for a split second! Grats to Superboom for playing so well! You could tell that Isai really turned it up a notch when he hit the last stock, though...

@jamesklee3 Nah, I think Superboom is just putting up a hell of a fight. Plus Isai's at a big disadvantage matchup-wise (at least as far as I see it) since Kirby's excellent edgeguarding abilities don't stand up well to Pikachu's up-b while Final Cutter is basically a gigantic flag that says "Please kill me now with a F-smash." It doesn't help that players are bound to spend half their time on Dreamland edgeguarding.
