Rich isn't all bad. Did you see that coat he gave her?

Indeed. Considering comments that I not only read on You Tube but hear in person.
Such faux pas would be just as atrocious at the table of a white, Caucasian, European hostess as this Chinese lady's. Also, the part that I also hate (but seems to escape people's attention) is: 2:14 Rich dipping his chopsticks into the common food platter. Ugh! Why didn't he just dish a little on his plate with a serving spoon and, then, eat from there (instead of what is for everyone else, too)?

Only white people need to learn cultural acceptance. Other races need not apply.

@judeluo Yeah, I agree w/ you with this guy's indecent table manners. Shrek had more class at the dinner table when he dined with Fiona's parents. No, if he's going to do it the soy-saucing should of been on his own plate of food after he dished it up !

I feel bad for the guy who played Rich. He must get so much hate for this...

@shadowfox1383 Yes, I did.

@andrewcolinwilson Did you know started as Kimiko in The Karate Kid II?

white trash piece of shit
The rectal cancer part gets me every time. Seriously I bet his table manners would have been considered indecent in any culture, even American's. I can live with the spontaneous toasting, but taking a large portion of the plate and soy-saucing the mother's best dish? lol that just spells general ignorance to me.

I stayed in China with my gf's family and we ate frequently at a large communal table, both dining out & when invited into their homes. Common sense, humility, table manners and an appreciative demeanor, lead to acceptance. This is so funny it makes me laugh & cringe at the same time. Thankfully, I believe I didn't make any of the same discourtesies that Rich did. HaHa! I was most surprised when the entire family asked me to sing for them! I certainly wasn't expecting that, but I did all right.
