Genuine Smile Project - 2012 Cheery Edition

This is a non-profit project. This means that nobody profits from it. Thus, I expect you to take the copyright of all parties involved seriously.

Only the respective owners of the content, which are the submitted pictures and videos, may reproduce it. It's absolutely forbidden to use any content in this video if you're not the respectful owner. This video may not be uploaded to any other website or YouTube channel. This, of course, is to protect all participants of this project.

The song used in this video, titled "Smile", is copyrighted by ©Didier Strijdonk and may not be used by anyone else without explicit permission by the author.

It's likely that other versions will follow, but that depends on submissions. For 2012, new submissions are welcome up and until March 31st. Later submissions will be used for the 2013 video(s), when I hope to continue this project. For future submissions, I would like to inform you that the used length of your video fragment depends on the amount and type of other submitted videos. Audio may be muted, but in extraordinary cases, it will be kept (such as hellorodney's intro and WarmothStrat's bloopers). Also, your video will likely be cut. In the case it becomes part of a slideshow like this one, then the maximum length will be around 5 seconds.

Also, I will only use 1 picture or video fragment for each person. If you appear alone in one, but appear with a new person in another picture/video fragment, then both will be used if the new person doesn't appear in any other submission.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has helped this project come to live. Not just participants, but also those who have created awareness. I can't thank each and everyone of you personally and it's likely I don't even know some of those who shared the blog or promotional video (or simply spread the word).

@WarmothStrat Thanks, but it's okay. I'm glad there aren't any negative vibes. Since the video is doing really well, I assume I must've done something right =P

I think somewhere mid Februari I'll upload another promotional video for the "Calm Edition" that is still to come. It would be really cool if that would be with new submissions. If not, then it's all fine and it's still coming.

With this many views I can safely consider this project a success. The success is the reward =)
