Mailboxes are save points in NIER. I think this is rationalized by Nier writing letters to Yonah, and then her writing in the journal you see on some of the loading screens. This produces an amusing mental image of Neir killing like 22 goats and then writing Yonah a touching letter about how he eviscerated every last one of them. Maybe that isn't a good explanation after all. Hmm.

There is something about Neir that I really love.

This game represents everything that is being a father, much better than being some teenage pretend hero.

Amazing music, unique style, very neat story, a WIDE variety of emotion, a very solid gameplay and goal, clear and informative information, good pace.

All I gotta ask is WHY THE HELL was this game counted as mediocre?! We need a heavy dose of culture and imagination I swear! ^^;
