Plastic lenses can yellow with age, reducing headlight brightness, and new lenses can be expensive. The 3M™ Headlight Lens Restoration System lets you shine and restore plastic lenses, including headlights, taillights, fog and directional lights. Now you can produce professional results with the 3M™ Headlight Lens Restoration System and a household drill (1200-1600 rpm).

  • is the performance finish a uv protectant coating like originally on headlights and will it last as long as the original headlight uv protectant did from factory.

  • @polly018

Please call our technical support line toll free at 1-877-666-2277.

  • How many times can you use this kit? I have 3 cars will i be able to use one kit on all 3.

  • @Ikedood

The kit will do only two lenses. Since most vehicles have two lenses, you will need to purchase a kit for each vehicle.

  • Will this work on tail ights?

  • @billythefat

The kit can be used on tail lights as well as headlight lens covers.

  • So easy a girl can do it too! I just finished on my Lexus headlights (I believe they are glass; so if you are concerned that it wouldn't work on glass like I was, be assured that it does work). I was concerned that it only worked on plastic, but it worked! Thanks 3M!

  • @mrflip1000 The pad lasted but I noticed the 3000 green pad broke down a small amount and started to come apart so be sure to keep it WET, the final polish pad worked a long time without a hitch, I kept going back to rebuff and it held up fine.

P.S I never got a lot of loading on the first two pads 500/800 and had leftovers when the project was complete..... thanks 3M ,-)

  • I watched this bought a 3M kit, working on 15 year old Ford Bronco headlights so you can imagine how yellow they had digressed to. Great product the headlights are as good as factory new......

We came, we saw, we conquered! Follow the instructions "No Worries" DON'T slow the pad down KEEP IT MOVING @ ALL TIMES and you'll finish like a pro, and be sure to WET the 3000 green pad and the headlight as you proceed from time to time, have fun enjoy your clear headlights.... Thanks 3M ,-)

We suggest using 3M™ Performance Finish, part number 39030(pint) or 38112(gallon).
