  • @1uphydro Here in Europe people look down at Americans as the nation of creatures with blind minds and minor knowledge. As for me it's unfair generalization as I do know that in every society there are the wise and the stupid. But after I've been reading your word duel with dilbergeg I came out with this conclusion: you are one of those who make up the above mentioned disgraceful stereotype of Americans. At the same time Dilbergeg is the light in the tunnel.

    ...letters from Poland

  • @1uphydro But it's true, business power is enormously subsidized by Gov't spending and tax reductions. If that's not corporate welfare, I don't know what is.

  • @dilbertgeg Rich people are the ones sucking up "socialism and welfare"? From the way your comment reads I would gather you don't have the slightest clue as to what you are talking about. You cry about people being greedy but then proclaim those same people need to give other people their money for no other reason than because you say so. You are a hypocrite and so is every other idiot involved with the occupy wallstreet "movement".

  • @1uphydro Don't try to divert attention away from the FED.They are the ones who created the debt crisis by printing money out of thin air with no real value. It's not about them being rich it's about how they got rich.Corporations and mega banks only interest is profit not the economy and they own your politicians. They robbed us blind in more ways than I care to count and you know it.Stop defending the 1% and wake up.We won't forget and will not stand for it.99% will not just go away.Deal with it

  • @1uphydro Unless you are worth billions then you are part of the 99% wether you want to be or not.Time to stop defending the poor little billionaires that can give two shits about you.The fact remains they got bailed out.We got sold out.Get a clue and educate yourself about the system don't be angry at those who are tired of being ignored while their own gov. fucks them out of their homes and jobs.He who has security is in danger-Benjamin Franklin.

  • @dilbertgeg Tell me, how did the 1% take your billions of dollars. Did they siphon it from your bank account? No, you gave it to them willingly for goods and services. Did they take it from your pay check and give it to others for frivolous goods and services? No, the Federal gov and the IRS did that... Those rich people are so evil for succeeding and creating jobs for others to "occupy" thus providing for themselves and others as well as stimulate local economic growth...evil rich people.

  • People got richer in Clinton era by Greenspan tweaking series of DEBT BUBBLES. Real mfg jobs were destroyed (Reaganomics guru Paul Craig Roberts has numbers), real income was replaced by flood of interest-bearing CREDIT to consumers + business.

So yeah, that spurred some growth, UNSUSTAINABLE fantasy wealth. Bush merely continued that trajectory & expanded, w FREE DOWNPAYMENT ACT, so banks could make loans to anyone with a pulse, and dump those "AAA" loans on pension funds and chumps.

  • @1uphydro No, the 1% got rich by TAKING money, and with massive GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE, both direct subsidies and the de facto and even actual LEGALIZATION of fraud. Why do idiots approve of SOCIALISM and WELFARE when it's RICH people who are sucking it up? Why do people who oppose Legalization of "pot" for example fully approve of legalization and decriminalization (no investigation) of criminal fraud in the Trillions.

Crack dealers might get rich, but not even close to these criminals.

  • Oh no rich people. Let's demand they give us money and then call them greedy!
