We are pleased to announce the launch of knitwear & accessories label Chop Wood Carry Water.
CWCW is part of a fair-trade artisan co-op in Bolivia with design based in Brooklyn. Knitting in Bolivia has been a folk craft for centuries, not only out of necessity, but also as a vehicle of self-expression and pride. CWCW strives to unite this old world expertise with a modern vision of fit, texture & style. The CWCW design philosophy is one of closet over collection, placing importance on each product individually. Creative director and founder, Brook Strong Bergland, studied fashion in Paris and earned his stripes working for the likes of Lucien Pellat-Finet, Johan Lindeberg & Rick Owens.
