DFTHA (Don't Forget To Hoop Awesome)

I've had this video running through my brain since mid December. Right before it got cold and gross. Today was literally the first day it was nice enough to go to the park and film that I wasn't working during daylight hours.
It was windy as crap, so my hoops and my hair took a beating. This is the first hoop video I've filmed where I let my hair flow Beth Lavinder style. The more I let it go, the more I surprise myself with how much it doesn't get in the way.
The song, in case you didn't know, is "DFTBA" by Hank Green of the vlog brothers:

"DFTBA", in case you didn't know, stands for "Don't Forget To Be Awesome". But it could also stand for any number of things, which is what the song is about.
I had a lot of fun making this video, I'm really proud of it. It's the first hoop video where I futzed around with the editing, and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. :)
ETA: Oh! One more thing. The skirt I'm wearing comes from the great t-shirt culling of '09. I dropped my t-shirt collection from 52 to 25, and the skirt was constructed from six trashed tie-dye shirts. It's probably the most ambitious reconstruction project I've ever undertaken!
