@SigmaKeto Even we bleach our hair, tint our eyes, heighten our nose, change our accent, or we were born in North America and our parents originally from the Philippines, We are absolutely Filipino deep to the core. There are things that are not right about our country or our peple but do not dismiss about many good things about us. We are unique and special compare to other culture. Other than that, we have a major identity crisis or even denying our very existence even our parents origin.

@UbayLanas there a different kinds of filipino accent. the most popularly known filipino accent where they interchange the f for p, or v for b is visayan. tagalogs or others in luzon have varying accents. so that person above may have a filipino accent but not your's.

rex navarette?

My friend and co-worker Angelita was Filipino. She was beautiful and I loved to hear her talk and that lady could COOK! She could NOT pronounce an "F" to save her life. :-)
-
Maybe because We tend to confuse F and P because some letters of the English alphabet was not in our Filipino alphabet. The English alphabet was introduced by the Department of Education to us.

I'm Filipino but I've adapted to America so I lost my accent. I miss it so much.
