  • well seeing how i had the boost psi set at 0 and had 3 injectors squirting water/meth in the intake at idle, im pretty sure your cummins would sound the same way, i know it was coming on way to early i just did it to see what it sounded like

  • how does it work? does it automaticly kick in on a certain rpm?

  • was that a insult or a joke

  • This message brought to you by Goodyear Tires.

Please burn more tires (and water) on YOUR truck today!

  • I thought it was gonna be a joke haha water injection.

  • Water methanol is only supposed to be injected under load/boost conditions. Not at idle. As you should know water doesnt compress, and spraying it at idle can hydrolock an engine.

  • And that's what meth does to you.

  • He's sure looking to blow that duramax up

  • @nwc1986 Oh so you were getting some nice atmospheric pressure boost eh? ;) That adds 50hp! (i'm just fucking with you).

  • @07Deadsoul ohhhhh ok. I would never put a programmer or any major performance/ fuel system part on my truck unless necisary. My 05 cummins for instance, had an exhaust, intake, 35's and fender flares. My 08 DMAX on the otherhand is going to need a programmer for the DPF delete that's going on when it hits 160,001KMS. Im thinkin 5" Mandrel bent, with 6" MBRP tip, S&E full intake, and because it HAS to have a programmer, I will ask around to see what is best. Im guessing 375& rear wheels after.

  • @MotoX179 yes i know, im in schooling for diesel services at the moment, the guy i was talking about was a buddy that worked at 4 wheel parts warehouse and was showing off.
