It strikes me that no papermill vid on youtube includes the chipper room, unless they were removed along with the rest of the machinery, but i guess very few papermills do in house chipping.

Oh I'd just love to go in there!! I bet it feels haunted! I love the fact that it's abandoned like that...The music gives it a really creepy feeling...and yeah I support the abandoning of paper mills so this is like an awesome video :)

This is an incredibly cool vid, as is the music! Would love to see it in full definition. I got led here from your Bethlehem Steel slideshow...you have quite the knack for getting into places the rest of us cannot. I live in Milford and am involved with the community group that meets with the EPA on the clean up. I would love to be able to access the places in here that you did, and the places at Bethlehem Steel also. The various guards don't let you roam around. Nice work.

Great time lapses and the music is superb. I'm bookmarking this. This is in a Alexandria?

Yeah, its pretty creepy in there now. I used to go to work with my dad every once and a while and its just weird to see it so trashed inside. A few friends and I went though it one night... strange things happened.

i live on the road this is on and i often find myself hanging out down there , my dad worked there ,my great uncle and several other relatives. me i have never been in there but i have been in the house that was build for the exectutives on delaware ave next to it. do you have any info on this house i have had some strange things happen in that house when i was in there and have heard its haunted?

thanks blackspike and fuzzybuzz for commenting. i've stood at the porch of that house looking in the windows, and i think the fire dept. used to practice there, but i don't know anything else about it. the mill constantly made noise when i was in there, but it was usually the wind blowing doors open and closed.

Awesome Marc. The time lapse in this is sick beyond belief. I wish i had the knowledge/equipment to pull something like that off.

thanks drew. the equipment part is easy. you probably already have just about everything you need. the hard part is the patience. it's a pain in the ass to shoot this way.
