@mytouch82 Fact: Elida has won a Latin Grammy for her album Fantasia. Selena won one for Selena Live. Fact: Elida dominated the Tejano Music Awards this year winning all 5 of the awards she was nominated. Fact: Elida was invited and sang with Michael Salgado at the Obama Latin Gala. Fact: Elida writes her own music and does a damn good job at it. Fact: Elida will go down in history as one of the BEST artist along with Selena. She's accomplished EVERYTHING Selena has and will continue persevere!

@txagvero20 :well they may have all known each other back in da day..but we all know who is/was the most famous til this day and she is not even alive...shelly,elida,stefani have not even accomplished to this day what Selena has and is still doing today even after her death...I am just saying there has to be some recenment from these women because their careers never took off after her death,,,she dominated the awards,music charts,,those are facts......we all know tejano music died with Selena.

Even though I am not at the forefront of where Tejano is today, I was definitely breathing it during its "hey day" back in the 90s and early 2000s, and I will still give her an appreciation for the memories these songs induce--but what's up with this performance? She seems a little "off" and doesn't compare to the countless times I paid to go dance my ass off at her shows. Thanks to Q- productions for keeping this stuff alive.

@mytouch82 no they don't dislike her. they love her! they all started around the same time actually. selena & shelly were making it big together at the same time, they were best friends as a matter of fact. & elida & stef came around shortly after. Those 4 women dominated Tejano music in the 90's. & really?! who's going to dislike Selena? lol EVERYONE loves her!!! :) well except the whore that took away her life :(
