Good Morning Judge

Folks that sing the blues usually lead lives that are just plain troubled. That's why they sing the blues and many of their songs are autobiographical. This tune, "Good Morning Judge" was written and performed by legendary blues singer Wynonie Harris and chronicles three rather colorful run-ins he had with the law.

As with all great blues songs, Wynonie's pain became our pleasure and "Good Morning Judge" was a top ten hit on the R&B charts in the summer of 1950.

Since this is just a cover, bear in mind that none of the events portrayed in this tune were ever perpetrated by the BluezGeek. "It must be someone else. 'Cuz I know it can't be me!"
