Equally dangerous, or rather: personal preference. BCs are large and hard to drop. Ghosts have cloak and are easy to miss.

@Thedutchjelle no I guess you're probably correct, but if I was in his shoes, I would have preferred to allow the UED to take control because at least they're humans and won't mass murder people like what Kerrigen did, you can see on SC2 what tragedies she commits

I know that I am talking about a fictional character, but I'm assuming what would I do if I was in a position like this ( if ever happened)

To prevent the new overmind's hatching and the grip of the UED on the whole sector. He knows Mengsk has a sizeable army so he could be of great use to him + raynor+ Infested Kerrigan.

That's how I remember it. Haven't played it in quite some time though.
