Caterina! OMG! She guested on SO MANY shows when I was kid! I've been meaning to look her up on YouTube for so long and here she is!!! That dazzling smile and her incredible voice. She played the guitar and sang her way into America's heart. I have to show this clip to my Mom!

Oh wow!.... talk about two talented ladies..... this is how music used to be... Outstanding performance by two ladies of class... and then add in Perry Como... so much better than anything on TV... Thanks to YouTube and individuals for making this available to us in 2010.... Cheers... so many other great YouTube links to look at tonight.

Just discovered Caterina Valente tonight on YouTube. What a talented woman! She was before my time but artists like her, Ella, Perry, Dean, Frank, Sammy, and the rest all make me wish I were born thirty years earlier. Wonderful music! And, they all sang with smiles on their faces!
