Iran upgraded Islam, but Islam degraded Iran.

The so called followers of Islam (who were not really understanding Islam) degraded both Islam and Iran. Islam is a beautiful religion but there are always people in any religion or nationality who make things ugly by doing bad thing under the name of a religion.

@HawkTheChosenOne Say that to Ibn Sina, Biruni, Ghazali, Rhazes, Nasir Tusi, Hafez, Sa'di, Attar, Ferdowsi who was a Shi'i with the same first name as Mohammed's (Abdul Qasim), Mowlawna (the most popular poet in the world today), Hallaj, and many many more influential historical figures who wrote treatises on Islam and religion. Cheery picking from iranian history and saying hafez is good but he wasn't muslim isn't an intelligent comment to make.

@mohammadkhazab I am a Christian and I'm fascinated by the history of the middle east, especially the ancient empires. It's so sad that what is taught in schools is not the "real" history but a biased history. Thankfully, there are great scholars plus documentaries such as these that shed light about the greatness of Iran and how it influenced the world. I wish there would be another Cyrus or Darius that would rule Persia.

@adilah2008nov they were not atash parast, fire was meant purity, warm and light so to never forget this they always kept it on and they already knew god before you and your families and islamor any religion , and they used to pray for god 5 times a day not for fire and they knew about evil and good go and study some more before talking too much.
