  • @boatracer39 LOL!! is this my ex-boyfriend Todd? he liked to argue til he was blue in the face and had to have the last word too, ESPECIALLY when he knew he was wrong, too!

  • @kerryincolumbus Yep,Kinda' like your Aunt who you quoted !! Sure !

  • @boatracer39 .... you were there? then that makes you old and senile, so, we can't really go by what you're saying here...

  • @kerryincolumbus Bullsh...t . They don't keep shows on the air for a year if they are total flops !! I was there and watched the show every week. It was a hit !

  • @kerryincolumbus It does not say that at all ..it just says it was canceled !!! As were most of the variety shows of the time !!!!

  • @kerryincolumbus Not true !! Most of the show's run ,It was #1 on ABC on Fri. night. In 1970 all 3 of the major networks were phasing out variety shows ! Ed Sullivan ,ETC,ETC !

  • I always hate those comparisons on which version of a song is better, since it's all a matter of taste, but the Chordettes version of this song is stronger. Not that this isn't very good, but this is one case where they miss having that fourth voice. I'm not really a fan of the Welk show. As a matter of fact, I think the Lennons Sisters were too good, too talented, for Lawrence Welk. They should have had their own show.
