This was about the third start and second test drive of the new engine. its a stock AW11 4AGZE that now sits in a 1985 Toyota Corolla (AE86). Build log will be posted in the coming month or so, at club4ag. the stock intercooler was just put on so the rubber coupling we had didnt crush itself anymore. ghetto rigged it and it worked. the IC we will be using is in the gap behind the front bumper.

  • does it have power steering and a/c? and how did you do your cooling system? please reply!

  • @fuckaduck1a

no power steering or ac, i didnt like the feel of the p/s, if felt disconnected so i removed it. the a/c was already removed when i had the car so i left it alone.

as far as the cooling system, its really complicated and you need diagrams of the 4ag and gze and see how both can be incorporated together. it took me about 3 times to get it right because no one had solid info on it. look it up on club4ag, i think i had some info on it there. and you need a rear water neck from a 4ag

  • im just wondering is your supercharger always on or is it on a switch? did a 4agze swap into a 86 mr2 with mega squirt 2 and EDIS 4 ignition and still in the tuneing its pretty hard first time doing it :(

  • @FrostzyfulI no, the m2r 4agze s/c is a relay operated but only if the intake pressure drops below 4 lbs. otherwise its off under cruising, or on under accel. depending on how fast teh accel. oh man you are doing all that for the first time? good luck. the 4agze is a beach unlike the regular 4ag.

mine is a California Certified Bearu of Automotive Repair swap. other words, its all legal. lol

  • @Snakeuserorochi the car is runnning and driving its just the tuning of it is hard it also doesn't help when the AFR senor is destroyer on first drive. its not a true mr2 4agze its from JDM with a cut harness and missing CPU and ignition coil :(, but there all pretty much the same motor.

  • @FrostzyfulI thats cool, and that sucks that the sensor broke...

so it is a ae111 4agze? coils are from the ae111 but i dont know about the mr2 over there. so what ecu are you running and did you merge the harness yourself?

  • @Snakeuserorochi its a DLI AFM 4agze i dont know if that helps, and yes we had to make a customs wiring harness, the CPU is from DIYautotune, com

  • @HmoobAtlanta did you make an account just to talk smack to to people?

cant tell but did you notice its not done yet? see ant loose wires there? notice the placement of different components? read that it was the almost first drive? just by looking around you might notice that it wasnt completed and thus, i didnt try to either 'go fast' or anything...

  • cant tell but looks slow

  • @chrisls1pro yupp
