ive had it for six months and its just getting worse. ive been going easy on running. but its still getting worse. if i stand on the foot that has it and try to push up i can barely elevate and it hurts extremely bad

I had turf toe for 4 months now , the doctor said it really heals very slowly , will this still take months to heal ? Can I play basketball even there's a little pain?
