One Little Minute - Kristen and Devyn

Nine year old Devyn's two older brothers had Big Brothers and she wanted to know what it was like to have a Big Sister to spend time with and talk to. She is an energetic, outgoing young girl who enjoys riding bikes, playing outside, and soccer and she couldn't wait to find a Big Sister that she could share new adventures with.

Kristen volunteered to be a Big Sister, knowing that she could make an impact in the life of a young girl simply by spending a few hours a month with her. Kristen and Devyn were matched in January 2009 and their bond has grown very strong in the nearly two years that they have been matched.

Kristen and Devyn see each other 2-3 times a month and have taking a cooking class together, gone to the circus and even made a special trip to Disneyland for their one year anniversary! Kristen knows that they are a perfect match because they love spending time together and never run out of things to talk about.
