alguns musicos tocam nota por nota... outros escolhem por tocar ao redor do tema, no improviso... Sem duvida Mauro pode fazer tudo igual. Ainda bem que nao o fez ou faz... assim temos algo diferente pra ouvir. Tem muito musico imitando SRV e Hendrix... mas se voce quer ouvir como eles fazem, ouvimos entao as versoes originais.

I think the best quality in pursuing music is honesty. Seriously, honesty in pursuing your sound, your note choices, your chords, lyrics (or not having lyrics), rhythms, etc. You have to be honest with yourself and honest towards the music. For instance, playing in a genre or with a tone based on a calculation that it will make you more popular is cynical and not honest towards the music.

Accessing that honesty within yourself requires shedding a lot of layers of insecurity and ego.
