  • It is very, very nice- but I note a LOT of directors RACE through Siyahamba! I prefer it as a dignified march- "We are marching in the Light of God" , after all :)

  • @jupifreak Yeah...the soloist is singing a descending minor third when really it is supposed to be a descending major second! Oh well...the little things, right?! Otherwise, nice job! Good blend and tuning as an ensemble! (That ascending fifth "oo" in sopranos at the beginning is a pain, huh?)

  • I don't understand what people are talking about, because I think the speed is great! Most things about the song were almost entirely fantastic. I did feel that the pronounciations were off, but maybe different people have their own versions. Also, the soloist was extremely, extremely flat!!

  • this would have been a lot better if it was a wee bit slower! but I like it very much because we sang the same songs at my high school for our upper level choir class! :D it's really a nice song and you feel the pleadings and the emotions of the south africans while singing the song! it's really nice! :D
