Islamist Indoctrination In American Schools

Since its initial publication in 1997, "What Islam Is All About" has been a best-selling English language Islamic school text for junior high level American students. The author, Yahiya Emerick, is an American-born convert to Islam. He is widely regarded as a leading Islamic childrens educator, and he also wrote The Complete Idiots Guide to Understanding Islam. The textbook is distributed by Noorart Publishing of Richardson, Texas. In short, this is a mainstream American-made textbook, written in clear standard American English, for the purpose of introducing Muslim-American children to the religion of Islam.

You may be shocked to find out what mainstream Muslim-American children are actually being taught.

"Islamist" is a fantasist's construct. Ridiculous The Muslim world uses no such term. An 18 year old Muslim student, from Western University said this abut the distinction between Islam and Islamism:"case and point on why you dont understand Islam. No one makes this distinction other then the Western world, for the sake of having a tidy little system to classify everything. Our religion and political ideology are one. Many muslims, including myself, find the term deeply offensive."

@watcher12343 Look at Islamic countries. Turkey has a secular form of Islam with division of church and state. Ataturk made if possible for women to remove the vail. Look at how Turkey has advanced. They still have Islam but don't push it on people. Everywhere where the fundamentalist interpretation of Islam prevails there is violence (especially against women) backwardness and poverty.
