yes, the play by Harold Pinter and according to dvd commentary that's why they named the groom Peter/Pinter as a some kind of dedication to him

@Headbanger142: Reverse chronology isn't new at all, and it was in fact the play The Betrayal that influenced this episode, hence the very name of the episode. Nevertheless both Seinfeld and Memento used the method in a very original way.
