MegaMan Zero 4: Fenri Lunaedge [Ultimate Mode] (Part 13)

Stage: Hibernation Chamber
Weather: Snowy

The claw really helps in this stage, as it can take out enemies in one hit. It's also very effective against the sub-boss. The only difficult part of the stage is the elevator ride with the icy spikes on the walls. With the way they're positioned, it's not hard to touch them at all.

Choosing the easier weather will remove the snow, the icy spikes, and the icy floor. This also applies to the boss room.


[Fenri Lunaedge]

Second favorite Einherjar Warrior. Possibly the hardest boss of the 8. This guy is quick and is most of the time unpredictable. The icy floor makes it difficult to coordinate your movements. You pretty much need to rely on your reflexes.


[Pounce]:
Fenri will jump towards you without any warning. This is very dangerous considering he can also use this next attack which also is instantaneous and comes without warning.

[Frozen Edge]:
Fenri will dash across the ground slicing anything that comes in his way. This is most likely used if you're somewhat right next to him.

[Cold Cutters]:
Fenri will jump onto both walls and then back down to the icy floor. Each time Fenri takes flight in mid-air, he'll swipe his blades to launch blade type projectiles in diagonal directions. Very difficult to avoid considering this attack covers 95% of the room.

[Rollout]:
Fenri will roll himself into a wheel and bounce around the room. You can really see the effects of the icy floor shine during this phase. The duration of the rollout attack varies, making it difficult to predict where Fenri will stop.

[Ice Clones]:
Fenri will make iced replicas of himself and will dash attack towards the opposite corner. The clones will then imitate Fenri's attack and follow Fenri into that corner.

[DESPERATION: Ice Blade]:
Fenri will launch a couple of blade type projectiles, each covering 60% of the room's height. The first projectile will slide along the floor and cover the bottom half of the room. The second projectile will slide along the ceiling and cover the remaining portion. Note that Fenri may repeat this attack 1 to 2 more times.

If you beat the bosses in a certain order, the game will be much easier for you. I suggest after Tech Kraken, or Noble Mandrago first, and getting one of their ex skills. Then from there, if you have Kraken's, go after Pegasolta Eclair and Mino Magnus. After you get theirs, go after Heat Gemblem using Eclair's, and Sol Titanion using Mino's. Then, using either of theirs, go after Fenri Lunaedge. Finally, get Popla Cocapetri, who has no weakness (he's just weak). Thumbs up to keep this alive.
