Resonance Labs presents a windless pipe organ based on controlled feedback. Its 16 tuned, MIDI-controlled PVC pipes provide a rafter rattling bass line for an orchestra composed of Tesla coils by the Geek Group. Each pipe has a speaker and microphone pickup with a control circuit that feeds the microphone signal to a 30-watt amplifier and a speaker for each pipe.

  • @CantusMaximus He was a fan of N. tesla's work and wanted me to follow in his footsteps. I became a fan of J.S. Bach's work.

  • My dad built many tesla coils during my childhood. He always made me help him wind all the copper wire on the pvc tubes, then we would spend three to four days applying coating (polyurithane?). I never liked working on them, I always thought we would have an accident and one of us would die. We used to tell people that asked what dad was up to that he is out in the shack playing with his testicles/testicoils. :)

  • XD If I ever have a project to bring in an unusual musical instument, I know what to bring. XD

  • @drtygerman lol
