2009 Hockey East Championship - UMass Lowell vs. Boston University - Part I

(1st and 2nd periods)

The top-seeded Terriers of Boston University held off the underdog UMass Lowell Riverhawks in the Hockey East Title game with a final score of 1-0. BU's freshman goaltender Kieran Millan earned the shutout with 32 saves. Brandon Yip scored the game's lone goal knocking in a rebound shot that rang off the post. Lowell thought they had tied the game with a power play goal in the second period, but the officials did not signal a goal and after a review said the call would be no goal. The final frame provided UML plenty of power-play situations including a 5-on-3, but they could not connect and solve Millan, and BU held onto the win.

Why are you calling people scum? what does the rulebook say then? The net was moved after the puck went into the net. The other youtube video has a good instant replay where you can see.

I didn't start the retard insult here. You can see the net come up twice on the other video, and can see the yellow of the pegs. It doesn't have to be off the pegs and to the side, once it comes up the play is dead.

Well the whissle didnt blow because the net came off, and if they did and thats the refs fault because it was late, the call was whether the puck went into the net before the whissle, which it did, any other factor is the refs fault, It was just sux cuz I was there and it was hands down one of the best games ive ever watched

Agreed with all points here. Refs screwed up on the call on ice reasoning, and it was a very good game. UML will be there again this year.
