Lastly the truth is that sexuality is an infinitely more complex & varied phenomenon that this glib 'tabloid' type nonsense provides us with.Sexuality exists on a continuum ; often shifts back & forth in quantity & ratio ; some people are 80/20% some 65/35% etc.etc.etc. & even THAT can change ; some folk feel theyre gay since they can remember & some say they felt it first in their 20s, 30s, even later.Granted many people feel COMLETELY straight or COMPLETELY gay & NEVER change so bla bla bla

Also Johns show was FULL of inconclusive 'self-fulfilling prophecy' for instance the twin boys one playing with so called 'girly' toys & one 'macho' toys - again SO WHAT ? this was NO indication of future sexuality as these were children- also John himself & lots of kids have a mix of toys.This doc. showed NOTHING by the end EXCEPT that JOHN was gay - it DID NOT prove he was BORN gay at all like he said to his partner at the end - he merely wanted to THINK he was - not the same thing is it ?

Lol for a moment I forgot that John Barrowman is actually Scottish so when I saw him with his parents my first reaction was- "why's he talking like that?..." lol.

And as for that guy's story about the trying to cure him well that was really sad. NOBODY should have to go through something like that, it's just not right. Sexuality isn't an overnight thing and i'm glad that in this day and age more people realise that.

i saw that show - that guy was a pathetic whiner. I'm NOT homophobic but he CHOSE to participate in that 'cure' thing & then wanted to blame people like 'poor me' victim- no one FORCED him- he then said the guy testing him was in a gay club . SO WHAT ? its prejudice to assume someone straight cant visit a gay club - he was implying that guy WAS gay & so a hypocrite- Who SAID he was gay ? ; he could have been there with gay friends OR looking for subjects for research to TRY to help them
