A video of the last photographs of the legendary San Francisco Beat artist Wally Hedrick taken by his friend LG Williams.

Wally Hedrick was regarded as, "The Godfather of Funk-Art" by Robert Arneson; and was Jerry Garcia's (a.k.a. The Greatful Dead)"most profound influence". In October 7, 1955, Allen Ginsberg read (with Jack Kerouac shouting "GO" in cadence) the first part of his new principal poem, "Howl", in public for the first time at the Six Gallery in San Francisco which Wally co-founded.

  • Lg, I feel really sorry for you,.. and Wally. I know how important he was to you.. I talked to him only once on the phone for a few seconds.. but I perceived him as a very warm and funny person. So, that's what I wanted to tell you. Hug, Florence.
