This sounds about as exciting as a half-dry towel. He's trying to force this excitement to hide the fact that they're basically just churning out a run-of-the-mill modern shooter counting on the name to sell where the game itself won't, but he's a really bad actor.

to march into enemy country's with huge army's on a board map where you make your plans, and then you fight the battles in real time and allot of strategy is needed to win. Why i like Empire: Total war: The game has not been released yet so i can't tell if the game is going to be great yet, but is looks very promising. make it crap, different people like different things. Yes i agree with you that stupid American kids are causing damage to the video game market by calling games like Halo 3 the best game ever but calling 90% of games garbage is so extreme that it almost makes my head spin. Also what about strategy games like Rome: Total war and Empire: Total war? Are those crap? First of all, i am not a kid, i am not a child. I have been playing video games ever since the NES, and some of my fav games are really old games like Super Mario world, snakes, and Doom and Doom 2. Secondly your obviously a giant bigot with not respect towards others peoples gaming preferences. Not everyone likes the same thing. Also, tell me whats so great about BF: bad company and GTA 4? if you liked gears of war your one of the kids who literally helped destroy the videogame industry by slapping huge characters into crappy non destructable environments using third person perspective...literally the worst thing i've seen hit videogames since the "Harvest moon" series...

and i'd still rather play that shitty farming game than gears of bored.

uhhhhh, Gears of war 2 is a great game, and so is Gears of war 1. If you don't like sci-fi than that's fine, but don't crap all over trends that you don't like. I don't like romance but i don't crap all over them. If you want a overrated game then look at Halo 3, it's by no means "bad" but still overrated to death by reviewers.
