  • I love my hair when it's wet but when it dries I get pyramid hair!

  • @Girlofpages I know! Usually the same thing happens to me :/ I made an updated hair care routine though and it's working out much better for me

  • I use Herbal Essences ' shampoo and conditioner for curly hair. Its amazing, I recommend it 100% my hair has gotten so much nicer since I started using it. Although that might be because, like you, I decided I shouldn't hold back my natural curly hair so it's probably gotten much more healthier since I stopped straitening it. So girl, we've gotta work that curly hair! xDD

  • @crazycarogirl I tried that before and it didn't do much :( But yes! We must embrace our hair! :D

  • i like using my Organix Coconut Milk Serum (its a great alternative to the Biosilk one) before i blow dry my hair. When an oil/serum is apply to the hair and heat is added the oil/serum penetrates into the hair making it more healthy and shining. Of course when i do this, i also use a heat protectant. I don't blow dry my hair all the way dry, it gets away to frizzy. Stop when its about 60 or 70 percent done. =)

  • @Susiefullness Do you use a diffuser? I never blow dry my hair because it get's REALLY poofy!

  • curly hair needs moisture above anything else, and if the hair can't get the moisture from a conditioner, it will absorb it from the air, and get poofy. i'm a curly girl too, and a hairdresser, so i recommend putting oils like olive oil, castor oil, jojoba oil etc. in your regular conditioner and doing a hot oil treatment at least once every two weeks. this is a cheap and really effective way to get enough moisture. and after that, use a leave-in conditioner. no more frizz!

  • thats a lot of effort and money!

oh well if thats the only way to make yourself better WHY NOT :D

  • I love how everything you said... Made Sooooo much sense and I love how us curly girls just know the "pain" of our hair like growing if out and just having it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go to the store and buy all the things you just listed.

  • @razzlebdazzle just use a concentration nozzle, Cool heat(no heat) and on low speed. it will dry up much quicker and won't get poofy.

  • omg!! every single word you said describes my hair except the towel ruins it and turns it almost to an afro(almost) i do the braid and im going to buy all those products or most of them because there is like always a layer freakin frizz on my hair it drives me crazy and i want it to look good like yours

  • Thank you so much! I have kinda course thick curly/wavy hair and it ALWAYS gets poofy and out of control, but I'm going to start putting it in a braid! THANKS!!!

  • @Susiefullness where you bought herbal essences split end treatment?

  • @razzlebdazzle Haha, me too. Now I now it wasn't my hair, it's normal for curls right :)
