@Arpe88 One of my computers are still rocking a GTX 260.
Working flawlessly, you should've RMA'd it. :)

Solutio(estrange but works no more strange than bake one haha) . i turn off the computer, move the pc to an horizontal position. And now turn it on, you can play all the day. maybe you have to do this several times, for example this morning only one try and it works perfect. ridiculous. Yes I can buy another one, but i am sure in two years, the same with the OOOh GTX595. I am think in ATI more than Nvidia.

I have the exact same problem and I found out that this is happening to huge amount of people. The best is to stay away from GTX280. I've also read that the "oven trick" might help, but you do it on your own risk ;)

Same here, on an old 8800GTX 3-4 years long
I still don't know how this video has the most views. I am sad. This card is still in a box inside a closet. Garbage card.

Solution is to buy a new card. No time to waste my money on a rma that is defective.

Either rma again and pay some more shipping for another faulty card or just buy a new one... Not much you can do with shady manufacturers.
