Airplane Home-Made Really Flies Under $10,000

Video shows people, who built their own airplane. Built it in their garage in a few months. Under $10,000. Actually flies with a pilot.

Used the Mini-MAX kit and bought the engine a German Hurst 33. Used a tractor battery for electric starter. Airplane is self-built with JDT Mini-MAX LLC Wood Fabric

Also shows air show, including RC R/C aircraft and Hobbico models.

A canard model with a camera is also shown.

Includes several helicopters including a Trex 600.

VERY cool! Though I think it would have been NICE to see it FLY. And the camera-woman needs lessons in how to be a camera-woman. Lesson #1 - shoot a LONG SHOT of the subject (the plane) before cutting in to close-ups. #2 - If you're interviewing someone, show their face, NOT their belly (considered rude in some areas of Europe). #3 - if you're shooting a story about a home-made plane, STICK TO IT. We can see OTHER RC planes ANYWHERE.
