Installing Bots on mac.

First, make sure you have Snow Leopard, the bots will not work on another Apple Operating System.
Second, you need to go into software update and make sure you have the latest version of Java.
Third, go to this link and download Stuffit Expander: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/stuffitexpander.html

Then go to RSbot.com and click on Premium bot client, then click on Download Premium Client.

Go to your downloads folder, and click on the .dmg for Stuffit, and install it.

When that's done, right click the botclient.zip and open using Stuffit Expander.
Drag the folder that just appeared onto your desktop and rename it "CSbotclient"

Open Terminal and type the following:
1: cd Desktop
2: cd CSbotclient
3: sudo chmod a+x install-mac-linux.sh
4: enter your password when asked (note your keystrokes will not show in terminal)
5: ./install-mac-linux.sh
6: the installer will open, install with recommended settings.
7: chmod a+x run.sh
8: ./run.sh

The bots will open and you can add your auth.

great vid it helped a lot but, but when i write "run.sh" it keeps coming up with "-bash: run.sh: command not found". If you would tell me what i have done done wrong it would be really appreciated.

@uenergy531 You have to type ./run.sh, not just run.sh

There was a mistake in the video discription, I edited it to fix the mistake.

If you DID type ./run.sh I suggest re-installing the bot and seeing what happens.

When I try to download the botclient, I get a blue folder with a bunch of stuff in it... So I cant use it with stuffit.. any help

@funnystone Sorry, I forgot to mention the specific problem I seem to be having. My terminal looks something like this:

john-funstons-macbook-pro:~ John$ cd desktop/csbotclient

john-funstons-macbook-pro:csbo­tclient John$ sudo chmod a+x install-mac-linux.sh

Password:

chmod: install-mac-linux.sh: No such file or directory

john-funstons-macbook-pro:csbo­tclient John$

I know my password and i'm typing it in correctly. Think there used to be a way to bypass putting in your admin password. Any idea?

Do you really need Snow Leopard now? I had this client running a couple months ago with my default system ( I have a Macbook Pro OS X) and it just stopped working one day. Did they change the client or something to only work with Snow Leopard?
