It sounds stupid, but I feel I lose power even from warming up... I just shake off my arms before the bench and hit it up with straight 200lbs ... (this is my max lift [im 140lbs].. so I max out with my first set! but hey, I'm 21 years old. IT's just advice, my advice is dont follow it, but do what ever the FUCK you wana doooo.
