Crazy people spending 100's on aftermarket parts missing out on the simple upgrades. Good job.

I had to make the body. The base was a Proline Stadium Truck body... im not sure what model. But then I cut the nose off a proline Acura RSX body and grafted it onto the nose of the Stadium truck body.

Nope... if you break an ESC you send it back and they charge you $45... not $20. Maybe $20 for an XL5 but for a VXL (this was a non waterproof version) they charged me $45 shipping included.

I lowered it by taking the shocks apart, removing the shock shaft with the piston still installed and sliding 3/4 of an inch of standard nitro fuel tubing over the shock shaft from the bottom underneat the shock piston. Then I rebuilt the shocks as usual and refilled them with 50wt oil. The fuel tubing acts as a down travel limiter. Its not hard on the shocks at all, is completely reversible and works perfect.

I did send mine back for a new one. But, because im in canada it cost me $45. Which isnt a big deal. I was geared 33/76 on a 5400mah 3S venom lipo. Everything else about the truck was stock. The shocks were lowered 3/4 of an inch with fuel tubing and the body is a proline T4 body. Other than that, bone stock stampede.

There was actualy a bit of water in the ESC case from the last run where the truck ended up in the ditch (under water) its not a waterproof ESC so when it flipped this time the water splashed around int the case and shorted the ESC out. I sent it back with my $45 and there sending me a new one. Oh well, thats the price of going fast.
