im confudsed on what to get i have comcast but i want the fastest do i need to buy a 1.1 or 2.0 or 3.0

powerbost sucks, I hate comcast faking their speeds, this onely improves your speed for a very short time. Docsis 3.0 is the way to go you will get real speed.

We have the 50 pipe. Usually when test is ran I get like 55-62 down and about 9-10 up

@BlueRollinCoal I have DOCSIS 2.0 I believe, but my upload sucks (2mb) and my download is only 20mbps, How can I get 30?

@theov3rmind All of Comcast's configs are 1.1, and this was before Comcast upgraded the config files to allow better powerboost.

Of course your going to have a faster modem if its hacked, but this is a legit modem that has not been modified.

Is 32Mbps the most DOCSIS 2.0 can do?
I'm on DOCSIS 1.1 and I get about 32 to the closest speedtest server.

@gir489 Yes, the difference between 1.1 and 2.0 is the upload speed. The downstream is not changed between 1.1 and 2.0. If your cable provider decides to upgrade to 2.0, then you could see more upload speed if they decide to increase your speeds.
